How to Use Our Templates for Feather Flag Banners
Follow these easy steps to personalize our banner templates and make them your very own.

What are Feather Flags?
Feather flag banners, also known as flag signs, are the perfect outdoor and indoor signage solution for drawing attention to your business, product, or promotion. The flag is made from a 4 oz. polyester, which is weather-resistant and highly durable, making it perfect for outdoor use. The pole set is made with lightweight aluminum and fiberglass poles for durability.
The flag can be placed in grass or soil using the ground stake. We also offer additional base options that will allow the flag to be displayed on hard surfaces and indoors.

Double-Sided
If you want your flag's message or your branding visible from both sides, our double-sided custom feather flags are the way to go. Print your design on both sides of the flag or a different design on each side.

Outdoors
Feather flags are great outdoor signs as they are known for their versatility, durability, and weather resistance. We recommend using either a ground stake, square base, or base with a water bag for outdoor installations. They can also work as feather flags with a pole. Except for severe weather, your flag signs can be used outdoors year-round.

Square
A heavy metal base with a flat, square shaped bottom great for indoor use and outdoor settings of high foot traffic and moderately windy conditions.
Ground Stake
This 25" long metal spike is great for installing flags outdoors in solid soil and typically provides the greatest stability for outdoor use.
Cross Base
This base has 4 legs and a foldable design making it a great option for indoor use and flags that may require travel. If used indoors with higher amounts of foot traffic, be careful to place it so that it does not create a tripping hazard.
Cross Base with Water Bag
To more securely anchor your flag, use a refillable water bag to put over the top of your cross base. This heavy plastic ring full of water adds 16 pounds of weight to secure your flag!

Assembling Your Feather Flag
Feather flags are assembled by unfolding the polyester graphic, assembling the aluminum and fiberglass pole set, and then sliding your polyester flag over the assembled pole set. Your feather flag is then able to be placed on one of the four bases offered.
Taking Care of Your Feather Flag
Maintaining and taking proper care of your feather will ensure it will last for years to come. These polyester feather flags are machine washable but should not be ironed or machine dried.

Questions and Answers
Assembling the feather flag banner is straightforward.
- When assembling the flag, take the largest pole, which will be the bottom of the finished flagpole, and insert the second largest pole into the end with the silver tip.
- Continue connecting poles in decreasing size until you attach the smallest pole which is the one with the small knob at the end. This will be the topmost part of your completed flagpole.
- Carefully place the flag onto the pole by sliding the pole through the bottom pocket of the flag.
- Once the flag material is attached to the pole, it’s time to insert it into either the ground stake or your chosen base. After inserting the pole into the stake or base, take the small cord from the flagpole and thread it through the small loop at the bottom of the flag material.
- Insert the cord into the metal ring at the bottom of the flagpole. Tie a knot, securing your flag and pole together. Now you’re ready to place your assembled flag either into or on the ground.
Unfortunately, we do not offer a replacement bungee at the time. While this small bungee helps keep the banner taut it isn’t critical to the flag functioning properly. Assuming the fabric and metal hooks are not broken, any other rope or small bungee will work in the same manner. If one of the hooks is broken, we recommend that you buy a replacement banner and/or pole set as needed.
The poles are attached to other poles by simply inserting the end of one into the end of another. There is no screw or button/lock mechanism to secure the poles together. Make sure that you attach the poles starting with the biggest (the bottom pole) to the smallest (top of the pole).
Though the flagpole and banner are both durable, we strongly recommend storing it indoors during strong windstorms to protect it from damage. You can use a damp cloth to help remove any dirt or other build up on the banner. These banners are also machine washable; all you need is to run it on low cycle using cold water. If you decide to machine-wash your flag, make sure to air-dry it afterwards. Do not place it in a tumble dryer.
If you decide to store the banner for an extended period, we suggest keeping it in a protective case and off the ground to avoid accidental damage.
Disassembling your feather banner is as easy as putting it together.
- Detach the flagpole from the base or stake that it is attached to.
- Untie the rope securing the post to the base.
- Carefully remove the banner from the pole.
- Once the banner is removed, gently roll it up, with the image on the inside, and place it in the carrying case.
- Disassemble the flagpole, piece by piece, then place the separate poles in the pole bag or carrying case.
The feather flag case can only store the feather flag itself. It is not recommended to store other items inside the carrying bag.
The stand can be tightened like a screw. Just turn it until it's tightened.
Unfortunately, we do not have the steps how to assemble the flags and install them to the base.
