What Are Angled Flag Banners?

Angled flag banners are one of the many different types of advertising flags. The bottom of the flag is cut at an angle, hence the name ‘angled flag banners’. They are similar to teardrop flags, feather flags, and rectangle flag banners.

Angled flag banners are ideally used as outdoor promotional displays for storefronts and businesses. They are also frequently used in conjunction with events, parades, and markets. Simple, yet aesthetically pleasing, angled flag banners are excellent for drawing the attention of potential customers.

Angled Flag Banner Options

Double Sided

Double Sided

Double sided flags are the most effective in terms of advertising. They allow for you to have one design fully printed on both sides, or have a different design printed on each side.

These double sided flags come with a thin lining in the middle that adds a solid back to each side of the flag. This allows for added visibility.

To design the back side, simply click the "Back Side" button once the double sided option is selected.

Single Sided

Single sided angled flags are printed on one side only. As a result, the design is “print through”, which means that your design will be slightly visible from the back side. If you plan on people seeing your angled flag from both sides, we recommend that you choose double-sided.
Single sided are not as effective as double sided but are more cost-efficient.

Outdoors

Angled flags are great outdoor signs because of their durability, weather resistance, and size. They are sure to catch the eye of people walking and driving by.

We offer a variety of different types of bases that are perfect for any outdoor use. For example, you can stick your angled flag directly into the ground with the ground stake or place it on the ground with a square or cross base.

Indoors

Angled flags are also great for indoor use, especially for events, expos, and conferences.

We recommend using either a square base or cross base when using indoors.

A heavy metal base with a flat, square shaped bottom great for indoor use and outdoor settings of high foot traffic and moderately windy conditions.

Ground Stake

This 25" long metal spike is great for installing flags outdoors in solid soil and typically provides the greatest stability for outdoor use.

Cross Base

Cross Base

This base has 4 legs and a foldable design making it a great option for indoor use and flags that may require travel. If used indoors with higher amounts of foot traffic, be careful to place it so that it does not create a tripping hazard.

Cross Base with Water Bag

To more securely anchor your flag, use a refillable water bag to put over the top of your cross base. This heavy plastic ring full of water adds 16 pounds of weight to secure your flag!

Caring for your banner will depend on how you use it. When displayed outdoors, we recommend bringing the banner indoors after store hours. This will protect it from the elements as well as ensure that it is not stolen. Do not display the banner in harsh weather conditions (heavy rain, wind, snow, etc.) or in areas where it can be easily knocked down (loose gravel or dirt). If storing the banner for an extended timeframe, we recommend placing it in a protective case and in an areas where it will not be damaged.

Yes. Your angled flag banner is machine washable on a low cycle using cold water. Do not dry your banner in a tumble dryer but rather let it air dry.

How do I disassemble and store my custom angled banner?

A:
Taking down the angled banner can be done as quick as you put it up. First, detach the pole and banner from the base, then untie the rope securing the banner to the pole. Carefully remove the banner from the pole by slowly sliding the banner off, while making sure to avoid any tearing of the material. After removing the banner, fold the material with image on the inside and place it in the optional carrying case. Disassemble the flagpole by removing one piece at a time and place each individual pole piece into the separate pockets of the optional carrying case or into the provided pole bag.
