What are Real Estate Posts?

Real estate posts are one of the most common real estate signs used by realtors. They are primarily used by real estate agents and companies to advertise homes or other properties. They are one of the larger real estate signs, which is great for attracting attention and providing lots of information.

Our real estate posts are made of a durable PVC and come with a double-sided aluminum sign, making them perfect for outdoors. They can also be bought with just the hardware (no sign). Riders are sold separately. Purchase your riders here.

What is a Real Estate Post?
Asked a year ago by Signs
Our Real Estate Post is a simple, shovel-free solution to professionally display your custom real-estate signage. The white 4x4 PVC post easily slides over the included ground stake and can accommodate standard real-estate signage.
What size(s) does the Post come in?
Asked a year ago by Signs

We offer two sizes: Small and Large, both measuring 6 ft. tall. The Small Post includes a 24" x 18" sign (it can accommodate signs up to 24" wide), while the Large Post includes a 36" x 24" sign (and can accommodate signs up to 36" wide).

Is a sign included with the post?
Asked a year ago by Signs

Yes, a sign is included in the cost of the post. As noted earlier, a 24" x 18" aluminum sign comes with the small post, and a 36" x 24" aluminum sign comes with the large post.

What material is the Post made of?
Asked a year ago by Signs
Our Real Estate Post is made of durable PVC plastic, which is lightweight, waterproof, and UV-safe. Because of these attributes, the Post is ideal for quickly installed, year-round outdoor advertising and messaging.
What material is the sign made of?
Asked a year ago by Signs

The Real Estate Signs comprise a polyethylene foam core with corrosion-resistant aluminum faces on each side. The signs are 1/2" thick and lightweight but durable. Graphics are printed using UV inks. They can be printed single-sided or double-sided.

How heavy is your Real Estate Post?
Asked a year ago by Signs

The Small Post weighs in at just 19.7 pounds, while the Large Post weighs just 20.6 pounds – so both sizes can be easily lifted for installation/take down, and for transport from site to site. Depending upon the size sign you combine with the post, this will add anywhere from approximately 2 pounds to 7 pounds to the total weight.

How long and how heavy is the stake?
Asked a year ago by Signs

The stake itself measures 35" and weighs 8 pounds.

What size signs does the Post accommodate?
Asked a year ago by Signs

As noted above, our Small Post can accommodate signs up to 24" wide, while our Large Post can accommodate signs up to 36" wide. Keep in mind that the Small Post includes a 24" x 18" sign, and the Large Post includes a 36" x 24' sign.

How heavy a sign will your Real Estate Post hold? What’s the total weight limit for multiple signs?
Asked a year ago by Signs

Because the arm of the Post goes all the way through the vertical Post, it will hold a considerable amount of weight (there’s no specified weight limit for the Post). That said, we would not recommend hanging anything on the Post other than our standard mix of real-estate signage options – primary signs and riders.

Can I hang multiple signs on the Post?
Asked a year ago by Signs

A typical configuration is a primary sign and a rider sign positioned above and/or below the primary graphic. However, you could hang multiple larger signs on the Real Estate Post – by having holes drilled in both the top and bottom of your "primary" sign, and then hanging a "secondary" sign from the bottom of the primary sign.
