Real Estate Post

We offer two sizes: Small and Large, both measuring 6 ft. tall. The Small Post includes a 24" x 18" sign (it can accommodate signs up to 24" wide), while the Large Post includes a 36" x 24" sign (and can accommodate signs up to 36" wide).

Yes, a sign is included in the cost of the post. As noted earlier, a 24" x 18" aluminum sign comes with the small post, and a 36" x 24" aluminum sign comes with the large post.

The Real Estate Signs comprise a polyethylene foam core with corrosion-resistant aluminum faces on each side. The signs are 1/2" thick and lightweight but durable. Graphics are printed using UV inks. They can be printed single-sided or double-sided.

The Small Post weighs in at just 19.7 pounds, while the Large Post weighs just 20.6 pounds – so both sizes can be easily lifted for installation/take down, and for transport from site to site. Depending upon the size sign you combine with the post, this will add anywhere from approximately 2 pounds to 7 pounds to the total weight.

The stake itself measures 35" and weighs 8 pounds.

As noted above, our Small Post can accommodate signs up to 24" wide, while our Large Post can accommodate signs up to 36" wide. Keep in mind that the Small Post includes a 24" x 18" sign, and the Large Post includes a 36" x 24' sign.

Because the arm of the Post goes all the way through the vertical Post, it will hold a considerable amount of weight (there’s no specified weight limit for the Post). That said, we would not recommend hanging anything on the Post other than our standard mix of real-estate signage options – primary signs and riders.

A typical configuration is a primary sign and a rider sign positioned above and/or below the primary graphic. However, you could hang multiple larger signs on the Real Estate Post – by having holes drilled in both the top and bottom of your "primary" sign, and then hanging a "secondary" sign from the bottom of the primary sign.

Any adhesive that will stick to PVC will stick to the post hardware. A decal running down the vertical Post could serve to reinforce your primary message, but keep in mind that you won't have a lot of space to work with for your message since the post is only 4' wide.

Yes, we sell signs that will work great with your Real Estate Post. Our Real Estate Signs are made of corrosion-resistant aluminum that can be printed single-sided or double-sided; they're available in sizes ranging from 24" x 18" to 36" x 48." You can buy replacement graphics for real estate posts by visiting the Graphics Only section on the page above. You can use just about any sign type with the post as long as it meets the following criteria: Small post: No more than 24" wide, has drilled holes 16" apart and no more than 1" from the top of the sign; Large post: No more than 36" wide, has drilled holes 24" apart and no more than 1" from the top of the sign.

We do offer riders – you can have them made from aluminum, corrugated plastic, and rigid plastic. Sign riders must be rectangular in shape and measure 24" x 6" with a thickness less than ½-inch. Our riders are easily attached to the post by simply pulling away the tension clip on the back of the real estate frame – this allows the rider to slide into place; once the rider is inserted, release the tension clip to secure it in place.

Yes, we sell both our Real Estate Post and our signs separately if you only need either component but not both. To order just a post, simply click on the correct size post you require in the "Hardware Only" section above, to add the post to your cart. To order only signage, click on the "Get Started" button under "Aluminum Sign," above; or if you only need riders, click on "Get Started" under "Riders." You have the ability to choose whether or not you want the post when you're configuring the Real Estate Post product in the design tool.

Turnaround time on our Real Estate Posts is 1 business day.

Typically the best location is at the primary driveway entrance – this way, your prospective customers will immediately see your property offering at the front of the residence or other structure. If the property sits on a corner lot or has two entrances, you could consider adding an additional Post (at the very least, consider adding a Real Estate Frame or other signage).

Generally, you'll need only a single Real Estate Post per property. However, if the property is very large, has multiple entrances, or sits on a corner lot, then more than one Post would help ensure that passersby see your messaging.

Since it's made of PVC (think PVC fencing or rain gutters, for instance), the Post is very durable and will hold up well for years in most normal weather conditions (see below). After years of 24/7 display subjected to the most extreme heat and sun, the Post could eventually become brittle.

It’s easy to install our Real Estate Post: Simply hammer the stake into the ground and then assemble the post and place it over the stake – you’re all set! There’s no need to shovel at all; yes, you will need a hammer for the stake (no, we don’t sell hammers, sorry!). All that’s then left to do is attach the sign and rider(s).

Our Real Estate Post can only be installed into the ground/soil, and the 36" stake must be able to be sunk into the ground to ensure the post will remain upright. It cannot be installed into concrete or blacktopped surfaces.

It's doubtful that you'll need an assistant for the installation of our Real Estate Post. The Post itself is easily transported and installed due to its light weight. So unless you need help in hammering the stake into the ground, one person should be all that's necessary.

Our Real Estate Post comes with a stake and other hardware at no additional charge, and the stake has been designed for the post; so, we would suggest using our stake. If, however, you opt to use an existing stake (or any other stake), it must be able to match the inside width of our post to fit snugly – approximately 3.625" x 3.625."

Ideally, store it in its shipping container if you still have that. You can also wrap it in a soft cloth and store in a covered environment (we suggest storing it flat, not standing up, to avoid it being knocked over/falling).

Simply wiping down the post with a soft, damp cloth should remove any dirt or grime; you can also hose it down if need be – the PVC plastic is waterproof and will not be damaged.
