Why It's Cool: Our opaque car decals are durable with pressure-activated adhesive. They also come with super cool air release channels for fast, easy, and bubble-free installations.

What It's Made Of: 2 mm opaque vinyl.

How To Use It: Use on personal or commercial vehicles to advertise your business, promote you brand, or just add a bit of flair to your boring car.

When You Shouldn’t Use It: If your car is super dirty. Get it washed first. Also, if you want clear visibility through windows, this isn’t your product. Choose our clear decal instead.

Lifespan: Your decals have a lifespan of two to three years.

Shelf Life: Store at room temperature with 50% or less humidity and you can keep it in your storage closet for a year. But why would you want to do that? Get it out and display it proudly!

Print Method: We print using a four-color process with UV ink that provides better protection against fading and abrasion than solvent inks. And it’s better on the environment.

Common Sizes: 12x18, 12x24, 18x12, 18x24, 24x36, 24x48, Custom Size

Other Specifications:

Water Resistance: Excellent. Bring on the rain, snow and sleet. Not recommended for full immersion in water so covering your submarine’s windows is probably out.

Angry Ex-Girlfriend Resistance: We can’t guarantee what will happen if your angry ex-lover finds your car parked on a dark street. Our perforated window decals are not rated for exposure to damage by razor blades, spray paint or machetes.

Stain Resistance: Resists mild alkalis, acids and salt. Also, resistant to occasional fuel spills in case you drive a very leaky vehicle.

Face Film: 2.0 mm
What does this mean? If you were to get out your calipers and measure the thickness of your decal, you’d see that it measures 2 millimeters.

Release Liner: Polyethylene-coated paper
What does this mean? This coating type offers excellent stain resistance, UV stability and guards against stress cracking.

Tensile Strength: 5 pounds per inch at 73 degrees F
What does this mean? The tensile strength test is done in a lab. Little jaws are affixed to the center of the material and then pulled quickly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take the world’s strongest man to tear the film (only about 5 pounds of pressure) but since you are installing it on glass, you won’t even have to worry about it.

Typical Film Caliper: 3.0-4.0 mm. With Adhesive
What does this mean? It’s just a teeny, tiny bit thicker than the face film (noted above) due to the adhesive placed on the film so that it sticks to your car’s windows.

Here are a few tips to make installation a breeze:

Remove any sticky stuff or previous adhesive and make sure the surface is smooth.
Clean the wall or window with a mild soap and water. Do not use ammonia, Windex or any other kind of solvent-based glass cleaner.
Dry the wall or window thoroughly.
Bring your decals to room temperature. This is easy - just leave ‘em sitting in the room while you clean the wall or window.
Start at the top edge and work towards the bottom.
Your decals are repositionable, just gently peel back and replace to reposition.
Use a squeegee to remove bubbles. Start from the center of the decal and work toward the edges.
Wipe off the decal with a dry cloth to remove dust or residue.

Keep your decals looking great by following our care guidelines:

Prior to installation, keep your decal in a dry, cool storage area.
Do not let your un-installed decals come into contact with water for an extended period of time; this ruins the adhesive.
Avoid wrinkling your decals - don’t roll them tightly or sit heavy items on them during storage.
To clean your decals, wipe them gently with a damp cloth.
Don’t use a pressure washer to clean your decals; this could cause them to peel.
